This policy covers the website bytesoul.net. The privacy policies of the apps are separate: Jolly (German first) and Bouncy Rocks.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you open a page, your browser connects to Vercel's servers. As with any web server, technical data is processed to deliver the page and to keep it secure: your IP address, the date and time, the requested address and the browser information your browser sends. I do not use this data to identify you and I do not combine it with other data. Vercel may keep such server logs for a limited time according to its own policy: Vercel Privacy Policy.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and working website). Vercel may process data in the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which allows such transfers under the GDPR.

If you write to me, I process your message and e-mail address to answer you. I delete the conversation when it is no longer needed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if it concerns a contract.

Links to other sites

Game pages link to Google Play and Steam. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that service applies.

Your rights

You can request information about, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde. Write to the e-mail address above.

If the site changes in a way that affects your data, I update this page and the date above.
